Ideal for use as mooring lines, anchor lines, lifting slings, nets, towing lines, heaving rope and tugboat rope.
SuperMax? is the latest development of ultra high molecular weight polyethylene (UHMWPE) fibre braided rope.
SuperMax? has the strongest tensile strength per weight ratio and is stronger than wire rope of the same diameter yet only 1/8 the weight.
Treated with a unique coating process and special heat treatment to enhance its anti-abrasion characteristics.
Non-linking, non-rotational and easy to splice.
Melting Point: 150?C.
Zero water absorption.
Specific gravity 0.97 (floats on water).
Elongation at breaking point 4-5%.
