Product Overview

Multiflex "EDGE" premium flex control cables have become so popular they are now being made right here in Australia. These high quality low-friction control cables are now available ex our Sydney warehouse stock from 6 Ft to 50 Ft length. Shorter length and longer length cables from 52 Ft to 74 Ft are available to order - and can normally be supplied in just a few days from order.

EDGE cables offer -

Higher efficiency EDGE low friction cable - the splined core has only 6 touch points and 21 individual outer lay wires to provide less contact and therefore lower friction
Lower backlash - EDGE cables are built allowing optimum gap between the inner core & liner resulting in less backlash
Tighter bend radius - EDGE cables offer significantly tighter bend radius and flexibility. Minimum bend radius 100mm.
Longer cable life - the special binder and lifetime lubricated core ensures EDGE cables are robust and last longer.

Standard Red Jacket Universal Control Cables
An economical universal cable with red jacket similar to the Morse 33C type cable. 8.5mm diameter outer jacket. 10-32 UNF stainless steel threaded ends. Suits inboard and outboard motor applications. For very long or complex runs use premium cables below. Size range 6 feet (1.83 Mtr) to 18 feet (5.49 Mtr) RWB7500- RWB7512.
EDGE Premium Universal Control Cable
Australian made premium flex cable. Very flexible and very strong ensuring minimum friction and maximum efficiency. Ideal for long or complex runs with tight radius bends. Blue outer jacket with 10-32 UNF stainless steel threaded ends. Large size range from 6 feet (1.83 Mtr) to 74 feet (22.56 Mtr) RWB7528 - RWB7579.
Standard OMC Type Control Cable - Pre 1979
Standard cable with 7mm dia outer jacket. Suits OMC Johnson/ Evinrude outboard motors PRE 1979. Exceeds engine manufacturers specifications. Size range 10 feet (3.05 Mtr) to 16 feet (4.88 Mtr) RWB7400 - 7406.

Please note that heavy and bulky items ( some seats, large anchors, consoles, rope, chain etc ) have shipping limitations and can't be sent to any islands ( 2899 - Norfolk Island, 4875 - Thursday Island, 6798 - Christmas Island, 6799 - Cocos island ) or remote areas such as NT, WA, TAS, regional or far Nth QLD. In these cases we will contact you regarding the order and either cancel it or send to an alternative address if possible.
*Note: Please note that certain heavy and bulky items over $499 might not be available for Free Shipping. In these cases we will contact you to confirm before the order is shipped out. Additional freight charges might apply. ie

Delivery times may vary, especially during peak periods. While we strive to have orders despatched within 2-5 working days, some items can take a little longer due to interstate warehouse locations and delivery times. If an item is needed for a specific date, please check with us first. To be on the safe side it is best to order at least 10 working days before an item is needed.
Buyers living in remote areas such as farms, islands, mining camps, small towns, or out-of-towners, etc may need to collect from their nearest freight depot as we can't guarantee door to door delivery in each case.
If an order can't be delivered by the courier due to an address issue and is returned to us, we will require an additional payment for reshipping the item(s)
All deliveries are made during weekdays only, during normal business hours (9am to 5pm). Orders can't be delivered on weekends, public holidays or after business hours.
We use Direct Freight Express, StarTrack Express, Toll, Couriers Please and Australia Post for shipping items, depending on your location and the item being shipped, at our discretion.
NOTE: All Australian Courier charges allow for Only 1 Attempted Delivery per order. All orders will be shipped as ATL (Authority to Leave) at the premises. Please supply an address where someone can sign for the parcel.
Depending on order time, most orders leave our warehouses within 2-5 working days of receiving the order. We do ask that you allow 7-10 working days for delivery, however in most cases orders are delivered within Metro Areas within 2-5 working days. Regional areas can take longer.
If there is a stock availability issue on certain products in your order, you will be contacted and alerted to the status of your purchase. For more information on products and delivery, please contact us.
All orders are traceable and are sent with either Direct Freight Express, Australia Post, Couriers Please, Startrack Express or Toll Express.
